LNIF600/LNIF800/LNIF1000
FWZ type inverting filter centrifuge is particularly suitable for the pharmaceutical industry, meeting the GMP requirements with its simple and effective cleaning, simplified through its full accessibility of every part of the processing area.
We designed a front casing which can be fully opened in order to expose the basket rear and avoid dead spots in the processing area.
• Full working cycle (from load to discharge) without contact between the operator and the product.
• GMP execution for easy inspection. With the front casing completely opened the basket rear is fully accessible.
• No residual cake (cpmplete recovery of the solids at every cycle).
• Steady filtration speeds.
• No cross-contamination due to CIP washing system.
• To avoid an undesired entry of oxygen and maintain the process free from immissions or emissions the centrifuge is maintained under a slight internal inertization pressure.
• Manual or automatic cycle, which can store many recipes with different processing times, rotating speeds, iteration and sequence phases.
• It is easy to changeover the machine for multipurpose plants.
• Operating modes: fully automatic through PLC or DCS, semiautomatic, manual.
• Limited headroom required.
• Filter cloth fastened to the basket by two flanges for an easy and quick replacement.
Drive
Electric motor drive with frequency inverter for the basket and for the filter cloth inverting system.
Filtration medium
The filter cloth is made in polypropylene, but it is also available in PE.
Gas tightness
400 mm H2O.
Clean In Place (CIP)
No cross-contamination due to CIP washing system. For a complete cleaning of the processing area through the creation of turbulences, a partial flooding of the processing area is also available (washing machine effect). The automatic washing cycle consists of a sequence of alternate washings according to both these methods.
Inversion
Electromechanical filter cloth inverting system, suitable for hazardous area. No risk of contamination with hydraulic circuits.
Lubrication
Lubrication by grease for all models.
Suspensions
Suspensions with elastic dampers which widely damp possible dynamic forces and minimize transmitted forces so that it is possible to install the centrifuge on a simple frame, avoiding heavy concrete foundations.
Cover
The smooth surfaces are easily cleanable and prevent the entry of dirt into the interior of the machine.
Surface polishing
Many polishing levels, up to mirror-like and/or electrochemical polishing.
Building materials
All the stainless steels and special alloys available, such as AISI 904 L, AISI 316 L, HASTELLOY, TITANIUM.
Working principle
Load
The feed pipe is installed in the basket center and is rigidly fixed. Depending on the filterability of the product, and on the rate of increase of the weight, the filling valve is repeatedly opened and as much suspension as can be treated is fed. After several repetitions of this recurring feeding process and after that a predetermined period of time is elapsed the centrifuge passes over automatically to the next working phase.
Cake washing
The washing liquid is also fed through the feed pipe. The rods crown causes a vorticity of the washing liquid and this uniform distribution into the solid. In this way a uniform washing level of the solid is realized. The duration of the washing and its repeatibility will be product dependant.
Discharge
The discharge is performed by inverting the filter cloth. Once the discharge rotation speed has been reached, the axially mobile shaft starts pushing the filter cloth rear edge outwards. During the rotation the filtered solids are totally detached, collected in the solids casing and depending on the case, filled in drums, or discharged to a directly downstream connected dryer. The discharge phase lasts less than a minute, then the basket is automatically closed for the next filling.
• Chemical and pharmaceutical synthesis products.
• Soft filtration, for instance for brittle crystals.
• Toxic and/or inflammable products which must not come into contact with the operator.
• Difficult-filtering products.
• Products whose cake can be very compressed.
• Possibility to handle very thin cakes (recovery of the residual product).
• High reduction of the residual moisture with the HCS system.
• Good cake washing with steam.
• Extraction processes.
• Possibility of thermal separation through the passage of a gas stream at low temperature for thermally unstable products (centrifuge-dryer).
• Ideal for multipurpose plants.
• Simple and thorough cleaning.
